Thomas Albert Rushton opened a specialist sewing machine shop at South Wimbledon in 1946.  He dealt in quality machines, which were sold at a fair price and were backed by unbeatable service.

Still owned and run by the same family, Wimbledon Sewing Machine Co (Retail) Ltd trades from a modern showroom fifty yards away from the original shop.

Although the product range has increased dramatically, the philosophy remains the same: quality, value and service are still the watchwords.
